Lines and Wrinkles

Lines and wrinkles are a normal part of aging. When we get older, our skin’s collagen and elastin fibres do not work as efficiently as they were and your skin’s top lay can start to lose firmness.

Lines and wrinkles are caused by a number of reasons such as:
  • Natural Aging
  • Sun exposure. Long-term UV exposure can result in reducing skin elasticity and degradation of skin texture
  • Smoking can accelerate the normal aging process of your skin, contributing to wrinkles. This may be due to changes in the blood supply to your skin.
  • Repeated facial expressions such as frowning, smiling or lifting up the forehead muscles in surprise, wrinkles are likely to form and set in those locations.

Treatments for Lines and Wrinkles

At Premier Laser & Skin Clinic, our skin specialists will conduct an initial skin analysis and consultation. During the consultation, we will check your skin conditions under the skin scanner. We will also ask you a lot of questions about your skin care routines, lifestyle and skin care products you are using to establish exactly reasons causing skin ageing. Then a treatments plan will be personalised to your skin conditions.

The INFINI™ has been clinically proven to increase collagen production in the skin helping to reduce wrinkles and resurface the skin through 3D volumisation, for a smoother more refined you. INFINI™ is a new three dimensional radio-frequency (RF) and micro-needling treatment which creates fractional micro-holes in the skin and induces precisely localized radio frequency emission from the needle tips, thereby precisely stimulating collagen and elastin production in the dermis without potential thermal damage in the epidermis.

The DermapenTM Skin Needling System has been proven to stimulate collagen production, enhancing the skins ability to repair itself in areas that may not be looking their best. The procedure takes the concept of micro skin needling, a form of collagen induction therapy, to a new level, by delivering multiple, vertical needles rapidly to a localised area of the skin.  The procedure leads to increased collagen production, which effectively reduces wrinkles and renews tired looking skin.

Sublative technology is neither laser nor light based. Instead, this one-of-a-kind technology uses fractionated bi-polar radiofrequency directed to the skin in the form of a matrix. This fractional delivery of Radio Frequency energy causes micro-epidermal injuries with wider spread dermal coagulation. This initiates a strong wound healing response in the dermal matrix. Wrinkles and superficial skin discolouration are reduced, and skin texture becomes more smooth and elastic.
